For culture, royal history, castles, the world’s best museums and art galleries and some of its best nightlife, look no further than a holiday in the UK.

If you’re in London make sure you visit Borough Market, one of the largest in Europe. Dating back to the 13th century, the market is known for its top quality and often unusual fare. Watch your pockets though as it can get pricey.

For some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK, head north west to the Lake District. Think rolling hills, lakeside views and plenty of stately homes. The restaurants here are some of the best in the country too.
